College of Education graduates named Teacher of the Year in partner school districts
Two graduates of the USF College of Education were recently named teacher of the year in the university’s partner school districts, and several others were nominated for the district-wide awards program.

USF, College Football Playoff Foundation give $6,700 to support teacher-led projects in Tampa Bay school districts
The USF College of Education, USF Athletics and the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation teamed up to gift more than $6,700 to help teachers across the Tampa Bay region fund special projects and activities in their classrooms.

Alumni Spotlight: LaShawn Frost
USF Alumna LaShawn Frost entered the education profession after being inspired through volunteer work at a Sarasota County teen parent program. Since then, she's advanced her career into impactful leadership roles and serves as principal at Booker Middle School in Sarasota, Fla.
