Dr. Han’s research centers around the theme of socio-culturally responsive teaching and learning in early childhood. Current research strands are identified as: early childhood teachers’ roles in supporting children’s social competence development; innovative approaches in early childhood teacher education; and socio-culturally responsive pedagogy in early childhood education.
