CSE Alumna, Ghada Zamzmi, Selected as One of 10 MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 MENA

Ghada Zamzmi, Ph.D., has been selected as one of the 10 Innovators Under 35 MENA by MIT Technology Review Arabia for the year 2020. Zamzmi was selected for her innovative research focused on Computer Vision, Machine/Deep Learning, Mathematical Modeling, and Cognitive Computing. Her invention records behavioral and physiological signals of a newborn, the system then analyzes these inputs to detect pain and its intensity and sends an alert to the caregiver whenever a newborn experiences pain.
