Biography
Dr. Yan Zhang is an instructor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, FL. Her main teaching and research interests are in Computer organization and architecture, logic design, computer networking and big data storage and processing with Hadoop. Dr. Zhang received her PhD in Computer Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2014, MS in Information Technology from Shandong University, Jinan, Shandong, China in 2004, and BS in electrical engineering from Shandong University, Jinan, Shandong, China in 2001.
Research Interests
Automatic modulation classification algorithms, distributed detection in sensor network, congestion control in data center networks, content delivery acceleration over wide area networks, and energy-efficient networking.
