RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Vakalis' research interests lie in the area of applied electromagnetics with an emphasis on wireless millimeter-wave systems, millimeter-wave imaging, radar, sensing, signal processing, and wireless communications. 


BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Vakalis received the Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens, Greece and the MSc and PhD degrees from Michigan State University, MI, USA. He is currently an assistant professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of South Florida.
