USF AICHE Engineering Student Named "Student of the Year" at the Tampa Bay Engineering Week Banquet

Arielle Meloche, a chemical engineering honors student at the University of South Florida, has been named the AIChE Engineering Student of the Year at the Tampa Bay Engineering Week Banquet. Meloche currently serves as the president of the USF chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).

AIChE, the global professional organization for chemical engineers, annually honors undergraduate students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and involvement in AIChE activities. The award acknowledges students who have shown commitment to advancing chemical engineering through research and organizational participation.

USF will host the 2025 AIChE Southern Student Regional Conference on March 28-29. The event will feature technical sessions, networking opportunities, and competitions for chemical engineering students.

REGISTRATION

  • Early Bird Registration ($90): Closes February 21st 11:59 PM ET
  • Standard Registration ($110): Closes March 9th 11:59 pm ET
  • Late Registration ($125): May sign up online up to dates of conference. Late Registrees may not be provided with food, shirts, or other items

The conference registration policy allows full refunds—minus transaction fees—for cancellations submitted via email to southernsrc2025@gmail.com by March 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Workshop and tour refunds of $10 will be issued in cash upon registration check-in.
