The FUTURE Act of 2019 requires all FAFSA filers to provide consent to retrieve and disclose Federal Tax Information (FTI) from the IRS using the Direct Data Exchange (DDX) to be eligible for federal student aid.
Be sure our federal school code 001537 is on your FAFSA when you apply each year. Use your FSA ID to sign your FAFSA electronically. If you are a dependent student, one of your parents must have their own FSA ID to sign your FAFSA.
NOTE: If you are attending USF in the summer of 2024, you must complete the 2023-2024 FAFSA in addition to the 2024-2025 FAFSA.
PRIORITY APPLICATION DATE:
Meeting the March 1, 2024 priority date allows you the best opportunity to be considered for the most aid types
possible.
FAFSA Scams
The FAFSA is free - there is no charge to apply for financial aid. Beware of sites
advertising services to help you apply for financial aid for a fee. If you use one
of these services, you will be providing personal information to a non-government
agency.
