As we close out 2024, I would like to thank everyone in our USF Health community for your hard work and dedication. I am deeply grateful to those of you who went above and beyond to meet the needs of our patients, students and facilities during and after this fall’s hurricanes. I am proud of the strength and resilience shown by our USF Health community when so many of you faced personal challenges amidst storm damages and flooding – and just kept going.
Still, as we look back on this year, I hope that what you will remember most is not the hurricanes, but the many successes that we celebrated across USF Health. We made fabulous research gains, recruited prominent new faculty members and incredibly gifted students, and opened wonderful new spaces that will help us drive innovation and creativity for years to come. I hope you will pause for a few minutes and enjoy our USF Health holiday video – and then join me in applauding the fine work of you and your colleagues.
I wish you a peaceful and joyful winter break with family and friends. I look forward to seeing you again next year to rejoin our commitment to Making Life Better.
