Medical student earns top honors at state symposium

Pranit Singh, class of 2025 medical student at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, earned one of three Top Research Poster awards at the 2023 Florida Medical Association Annual Meeting. His poster Nodal Basin Irradiation as part of Neoadjuvant Chemoradiation for Esophageal Cancer and Subsequent Lymph Node Responses at a Major Tertiary Referral Center Compared to it Local Referring Facilities focuses on different treatment centers for patients with esophageal cancer.

Other USF Health leaders and student also participated in the three-day event as competition judges, board members of the various specialty associations, and attended information sessions run by FMA and physician educators.
