This past summer and fall, the School welcomed the most academically prepared cohorts of Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Athletic Training students. In June, the Athletic Training program admitted twenty new students, and this week, the DPT program welcomed fifty-one new students. Both programs not only filled their cohorts but also selected the most competitive and prepared students from extensive applicant pools.
The Athletic Training students will spend the next two years taking academic courses, completing clinical experiences, and gaining hands-on experience to prepare for their profession. Our Physical Therapy students will spend just under three years completing their degree, with a combination of academic courses and clinical experiences.
