Dawn Adolfson
Dawn earned her B.A. in Anthropology & Spanish from Florida Atlantic University Honors College and her M.S. in Foreign and Second Language Education from Florida State University (FSU). She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Instructional Systems and Learning Technologies at FSU, exploring student preferences and perceptions of learning objectives in online courses. Before joining InEd Digital Learning in 2023 as a Learning Designer, Dawn worked in adult education as an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) instructor, program specialist, and program coordinator at Tallahassee State College. She also taught undergraduate courses: Cross-Cultural Communication at Flagler College and Academic Success for Transfer Students at FSU. Dawn enjoys working with faculty to enhance the alignment between learning outcomes, materials, activities, and assessments.
Dawn enjoys trying all kinds of new recipes, such as cooking on her Blackstone or baking traditional Mexican sweet breads. Whenever she has some free time, you’ll find her in one of her Minecraft worlds or playing indie video games.
