Technology Tip: "Catch up" in Microsoft Word

USF Information Technology recently launched a new regular series called “Tech Tips and Tricks” to provide students, faculty and staff with helpful tips about using features in the technology tools we have at USF. This series supports the focus outlined in our 2023-2028 IT Strategic Plan to “Make IT Easy” for our clients.

These tips will cover a wide range of topics, from basic features to advanced techniques in different software programs, along with important information related to digital security and identity protection. View all of our current tips here and please follow us on Instagram and Threads @usfinfotech.

Check out our technology tip for this week: Catch up in Microsoft Word!

To keep track of updates in a shared document you own or can edit, use the Catch up feature. It directs you to mentions, highlights recent edits to the document, and lists comments or tasks awaiting your response (See graphic for requirements).
