About my research
As a part of Dr. Chris Stallings’ lab, I am pursuing my Master’s in Marine Science with a concentration in Biological Oceanography. While I am here, I plan to study the effects of climate change on biology in the ocean. Specifically, I would like to look to see if ocean acidification and ocean warming are having synergistic impacts on marine life.
Why USF CMS?
I chose to come to CMS due to the connections the college has with various organizations and agencies that will help me with research collaboration and networking for future careers. The college is located in a prime location for marine research and Saint Petersburg is a large city with lots of volunteer and outreach opportunities. CMS has many resources available to help students succeed in fieldwork and classes.
