INSTITUTION, MAJOR, AND HOBBIES

Greetings. I am a second-year environmental science major at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. My hobbies are swimming, singing, and I also enjoy reading a good book when I get the chance to.

CAREER INTERESTS

My career interest lies in marine biology, and I wish to study how different influxes in various factors influence marine life. At my university, I have an ongoing project: The mitigation and removal of lead from coastal and marine ecosystems. As I grow, I plan to tweak this to how the plankton in these ecosystems affects marine life.

WHY I CHOSE TO ATTEND THE USF MAKING WAVES

I chose to attend USF Making Waves because it best matched my interests and that being around peers with a like mind would help me grow and develop professionally. Another reason is that wanted to work on something different to help expand my horizons about the marine science world because it is my passion.
