Jennifer has 30 years of experience in the field of satellite remote sensing. Her main interest is developing optical techniques for detecting and monitoring harmful algal blooms from space. She currently serves as project manager for a 3-year NASA project aimed at improving decision support tools for mitigating the harmful effects of blue-green algal blooms in south Florida estuaries. In addition to helping to manage this project, her responsibilities will entail processing water samples for their bio-optical properties and interpreting satellite imagery.
