Salvatore Caprara

Dr. Caprara has been working at University of South Florida since 2016, where he moved after defending his PhD thesis in Chemical Science at Università degli Studi dell’Insubria (Como, Italy). His research is focused on the quantification, distribution, and speciation of trace metals in seawater, with the aim of better understanding their role in biological and non-biological processes. He is highly engaged in field efforts and samples processing, with emphasis on analytical quantifications and method development.
