The USF community is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs until Oct. 15.

The vitality of the USF Hispanic community was felt on the dance floor at the USF
Rec Center.

The students learned to salsa with the USF Latin Dance Club.

The USF Latin Dance Club meets twice a week on the Tampa campus and holds monthly
socials open to all at the Marshall Student Center.

The USF community gathered to celebrate at the Hispanic Heritage Month luncheon hosted
by the Office of Multicultural Affairs.

Throughout the luncheon, a local mariachi band serenated the group with traditional
songs and variations on classic melodies.

Traditional foods, such as rice, beans and plantains, were served at the luncheon.
