USF kicks off fall semester
The 2021-2022 school year will be filled with “firsts” for more USF students than a typical year. Not only will university freshmen experience campus life for the first time, but so will thousands of returning students. This is the USF Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee campuses’ first semester to be fully operational since August 2019.

USF Board of Trustees selects Rhea Law as interim president
The University of South Florida Board of Trustees voted unanimously to select Rhea Law to serve as the university’s interim president. Law will begin her term effective immediately with the appointment subject to confirmation by the Florida Board of Governors at its next meeting on Aug. 31.

Hill named USF vice president for University Communications and Marketing
University of South Florida President Steve Currall today announced the appointment of Kim Hill as vice president for University Communications and Marketing and USF’s chief marketing officer. Hill has served in the role on an interim basis since January 2021.
