Rolle selected as new University of South Florida College of Education dean
The University of South Florida announced the appointment of R. Anthony Rolle, an experienced leader and former professor and department chair at USF, as the new dean of the College of Education. Rolle returns to USF after serving as dean of the Alan Shawn Feinstein College of Education and Professional Studies at the University of Rhode Island for the past four years.

The University of South Florida has unveiled its blueprint for the next decade. Meeting for the first time in person since the start of the pandemic, the USF Board of Trustees today approved “A Blueprint for a Bold Future: Where Academic Excellence and Opportunity Converge”.

Will Weatherford elected new USF Board of Trustees chair
Will Weatherford will serve as the new chair of the University of South Florida Board of Trustees, following his unanimous selection by board members during a meeting held today. In the same meeting, Mike Griffin was unanimously chosen to serve as the board’s new vice chair. Both the chair and vice chair terms are for two years and take effect July 1, 2021.
