New research uses ground-penetrating radar at Weedon Island archaeological site

USF anthropology students are using ground-penetrating radar to help locate objects under the surface at Weedon Island Preserve. The nature preserve is located along the western shore of Tampa Bay in Pinellas County. It is considered one of the most significant archaeological sites in Florida.
