Amber Jankowski's unexpected journey from military service to mentorship at USF

USF alum Amber Jankowski was the military equivalent of a dental hygienist in the Air Force before four hand surgeries changed her career path forever. After being medically discharged, Jankowski turned to serve those who faced similar challenges as she did and became a vocational rehabilitation counselor. In her position, she helps individuals with disabilities find something they are successful at and works to normalize the wide variety of skills people can have.

USF Dining supports local restaurants through Aramark-developed program

Recently launched inside the Marshall Student Center food court on the USF Tampa campus is Local Restaurant Row, an Aramark-developed program that brings minority- and women-owned vendors to client locations within higher education, health care and corporate dining. The USF St. Pete campus will debut the program at The Reef in the fall.
