USF professor invited to join UN and UNESCO advisory group on genocide education in Africa

Due to his depth and breadth of knowledge in the field of Holocaust and genocide studies, Edward Kissi, associate professor in the School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies, has been invited by the United Nations (UN) and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to become a member of their Advisory Group on Genocide Education in Africa.

Africana Studies fosters broad intellectual perspectives that lead to impactful careers

USF is the first university in Florida to offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in Africana Studies. It was founded more than 50 years ago and has helped produce some of the most well-rounded professionals in disciplines around the world, such as law, public policy and community development.
