Effective July 1, 2022, the Florida Senate passed House Bill 7 (HB 7) pertaining to Individual Freedom which amends the Florida Civil Rights Act (FCRA) and the Florida Educational Equity Act (FEEA).
The following resources have been compiled to provide additional information for faculty. This page and relevant resources will be updated as we receive feedback and continue to learn how best to support faculty.

- HB 7 Initial Guidance (updated11/18/22)
- On November 17, 2022, a federal court issued a preliminary injunction that prohibits the Florida Board of Governors (BOG) and USF from enforcing HB 7 and related BOG Regulation 10.005 until further notice from the court. Therefore, this Guidance is rescinded and remains available online for historical purposes only.
