USF professor creates self-driving vehicle

A University of South Florida professor is rethinking conventional transportation methods. His solution? Self-driving cars. Assistant Professor Shaw Li with the university’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is also head of the Connected and Autonomous Transportation Systems Lab. He has built two autonomous vehicles – a 2016 and 2017 Lincoln MKZ (WFLA).

Dr. Yogi Goswami is a distinguished professor at the University of South Florida. His idea was to use his photo-voltaic technology concepts to remove pollutants from the air and then make that system small enough to use in his son’s room at night to help with his allergies. Fast forward a few decades and Dr. Goswami founded Molekule to bring this air purifying tech to everyone (Forbes).
