USF Ranks #22 for International Student Enrollment and #29 for Enrollment in Credit Earning Study Abroad Programs among Public Institutions
November 16, 2020 -- Today, November 16th, 2020, the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and the Institute of International Education (IIE) has released findings from the 2020 Open Doors Report on International Educational Exchange. Among public institutions, USF ranks #29 for student enrollment in credit earning study abroad programs (2018/19) and #22 for international student enrollment (2019/20).

USF Student Voices Inform International Journalists’ Understanding of the U.S. Presidential Election
November 05, 2020 -- University of South Florida students were recently selected to participate in a highly interactive U.S. Presidential Election Reporting Seminar sponsored by the East-West Center. International journalists connected with USF students in virtual conversation groups to discuss the U.S. presidential election and the issues that are motivating young people to vote this election cycle. The University of South Florida Ranks #2 Nationally for Undergraduate Students Earning the Peace Corps Prep Certificate
September 30, 2020 -- The University of South Florida ranks No. 2 nationally among all institutions offering undergraduate students the opportunity to earn the Peace Corps Prep certificate. In collaboration with the U.S. Peace Corps, the University of South Florida awarded 49 Prep certificates to the graduating class of 2020.

USF World Launches Support Fund to Aid International Students Affected by COVID-19
May 26, 2020 -- The University of South Florida has recognized that international students face unique challenges as a result of the COVID-19 crisis. International students are not eligible for financial assistance that U.S. students receive from the federal CARES Act. In order to support these students and help them fulfill their dreams of completing their degree at USF, the USF World International Student Support Fund was created.

University of South Florida Among Top Schools for Producing Peace Corps Volunteers
February 26, 2020 -- The University of South Florida is one of the nation’s top institutions for producing Peace Corps volunteers, according to new rankings released today. USF is ranked No. 2 for total graduate volunteers and No. 25 among undergraduate volunteers for large schools, according to the Peace Corps. 

USF Named One of the Nation's Top Producers of Fulbright Scholars in the Nation
February 10, 2020 -- The University of South Florida is one of the top producers of Fulbright scholars in the United States for 2019-20, according to a new list released today by the U.S. Department of State and first published by the Chronicle of Higher Education.
