Policy

The purpose of this policy is to reduce workplace exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) to prevent the transmission of human bloodborne pathogens (BBP) such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B virus and hepatitis C virus.
