Admission Information

Freshman Admission Dates and Deadlines

Apply early! Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis beginning in late fall as we receive completed applications and all supporting documents. You may apply as early as August of your senior year. Freshman applications are considered for the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters.

   2. Priority Application Deadline

      November 1

      

      IMPORTANT DEADLINE - Students must submit an application to USF by the priority deadline to qualify for benefits like:
      
      

      • Priority Decision Notification on December 10
      • Priority Consideration for Term of Choice
      • Priority Consideration for Campus of Choice

   3. Priority Supporting Documents Deadline

      November 15

      

      IMPORTANT DEADLINE - Students must submit all required documents (application fee, SSAR/transcript and test scores) by November 15 to be considered for priority admission benefits.
      
      
      We also invite students to complete the Judy Genshaft Honors College application by November 15 to qualify for priority consideration into our prestigious Honors program.

   4. Priority Decision Release Day

      December 10

      Students who applied and submitted all required documents
      by the priority deadlines will receive their admissions decision on December 10.
      
      Any priority Judy Genshaft Honors College acceptances will also be shared on December 10.

   5. Rolling Decisions Begin

      December 16

      Students who missed any of our priority deadlines will begin
      receiving decisions on a rolling basis starting on December 16.
      
      Please note: allow 4-6 weeks for USF to provide students with an admissions decision.

   6. Application Deadline for Scholarships

      January 15

      Submit general USF application and supporting documents by
      January 15 to be automatically considered for merit-based admissions scholarships. This will include the application fee, test scores and SSAR/transcript(s).

   7. Final Application Deadline

      March 1

      Final deadline to apply to USF for Summer/Fall 2025 admission.

   8. Final Supporting Documents Deadline

      March 15

      Submit all required documents (including SSAR, application fee and
      test scores) to be considered for admission to USF.

   9. Deposit Deadline

      May 1

      Final deadline to save a spot at USF by submitting the nonrefundable $200 admissions deposit or submitting a deposit fee waiver.
