Advising

Advising Appointments are 30 minute time slots designed for more in-depth advising. Please note, the appointment scheduler only books out 2 weeks in advance, so plan ahead! Also, same-day appointments cannot be made. If we are booked for a date that you are requesting, please check back daily to see if more time slots are available. If you are not finding any available time slots, please check our Drop-in Calendar to see if there are any drop-in days.

Drop-In Hours for Chemistry Advising

There are times when we offer advising on a drop-in basis. To check to see if we are having drop-ins, please see our Drop-in Calendar.

Cancellations and No-Shows

Keep in mind all Chemistry Advisors track no-shows and cancellations. Students are allowed 2 opportunities to cancel an appointment before they are blocked and unable to make another appointment.

If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so 2 business days in advance through the online scheduler. This will allow you to reschedule, and it will open that time slot for another student. Additionally, if you are late for an advising appointment, you will need to reschedule.

If you are blocked due to cancellations or missed appointments, please send an email to chemadvise@usf.edu (from your USF email address) stating the reason(s) you could not make your appointments, with your full name and U#.
