Research
Primary Research
Pre-eruptive Volcanic Geochemistry, Relationship between Volatiles (H2O, CO2, S, F & Cl) and trace elements related to subduction recycling in Magmatic Systems, Igneous Petrology, Volcanic Conduit Processes
Secondary Research with the USF-CGA Core Faculty
Manager of the Center for Geochemical Analysis: Instrumentation includes 2 ICP-MS with coupled PrepFAST IC and Laser Ablation systems, ICP-OES, HP-IC, FTIR and IRMS.
I examine, among other things via the Center for Geochemical Analysis, forensic soils, elemental extracts, chemically treated environmental waters and trace elements in biological and prebiotic materials.
