PROFESSIONAL BIO
I received by Bachelor's Degree in Marine Science at Florida Gulf Coast University. I have worked as a research assistant at FGCU, teaching assistant at FGCU and USF, and currently work as a field assistant for the USGS Caribbean-Florida Water Science Center. My Thesis project builds on my undergraduate project, presented at the AGU Fall 2021 Conference, focusing on Charlotte County, FL and Warm Mineral Springs located in North Port, FL. My research interests are using radium isotopes as tracers to track metals, nutrients, and pollutants from groundwater to surface water through submarine groundwater discharge to better understand the groundwater system in Florida and what makes the groundwater system unique in Charlotte County, FL compared to other areas in Florida and around the world.
