Interdisciplinary Social Sciences (ISS)
Major Requirements

ISS majors take coursework in three categories (42 credit hours total):
Core Requirements (9 credit hours)
Diversity and Global Context Requirements (6-9 credit hours):
- Africana Studies
- Disability Studies
- International Studies
- Women's and Gender Studies
- Upper - Level Courses (3000 - or 4000 - level) with an ISS prefix.
Concentration Requirements (24-27 credit hours)
Coursework in two areas of concentration, with 12 hours of coursework in one, and 12-15 hours of coursework in the other (see list of Concentrations).
