Faelyn Cowan

I am Faelyn Cowan. I’m a Florida native born and raised, and I earned my BA in Psychology at the University of South Florida. I am currently pursuing an MA in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, which I plan to apply to a career in counseling to foster an informed and effective therapeutic environment for queer youth. My research interests include queer history, nonbinary studies, and biases against childfree people. I’m also particularly interested in how to apply feminist and queer methodology to counseling practices.

Outside of academia I can typically be found writing short fiction (usually in the horror or fantasy genres), roller skating in the great outdoors, or collecting strange and interesting nick-nacks.
