Upload the following items in PDF format with your online application:

• Unofficial transcripts from every institution of higher learning you have attended. Your transcripts must show that you have received (or are about to receive) a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and maintained at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Note: Official transcripts will be required if you are admitted.

• For international students from countries where English is not the official language, and who have not earned at least a bachelor’s degree in the U.S., must also demonstrate proficiency in the English language. Unofficial test scores no more than two (2) years old are required from one of the following listed below to determine English proficiency.
  
  The university requirements for international students are available on their website. Please note the minimum score requirements:

  • IELTS - 6.5

  • PTE-A - 53

  • TOEFL (iBT - 79; PBT - 550)

  • GRE Verbal - 153

  • Duolingo – 110
    
    

• Provide the names and email address of three (3) people, usually your professors, familiar with your academic work and the nature of the work required of graduate students in social sciences. They will receive an email requesting letters of recommendation for you.
  
  

• GRE scores are not required. However, GRE scores can be considered if submitted, and are recommended if they strengthen your application.

Official test scores are those provided to USF by the testing agency.

Priority deadline for applicants seeking assistantships: February 15
