Membership in a Zimmerman School of Advertising & Mass Communications student organization offers multiple benefits. New members meet senior students, and members regularly meet professional counterparts and tour Tampa Bay media and professional organizations.
Prospective members enrolled in any mass communications sequence or major can join any student organization.

American Advertising Federation (AAF): Designed to build lasting professional relationships among the greater Tampa Bay advertising community and beyond, USF AAF builds community among USF students interested in advertising.
Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA): The Florida Public Relations Association strives to advance the profession of Public Relations, the leadership and professional development of its members, networking opportunities with Florida and other PR professionals, scholarships and internships, and education of members and non-members about PR; and to perform community service.
Kappa Tau Alpha: Since 1977, the USF Chapter of Kappa Tau Alpha has recognized academic excellence in journalism and mass communications. Selection for membership in the USF chapter of this national mass communications honor society is a mark of highest distinction.
Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA): Our Walter E. Griscti Chapter is a nationally affiliated organization devoted to connecting PR students with each other, PR professionals, and the professional practice of public relations.
Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA): The Radio Television Digital News Association purpose is to exchange professional knowledge of radio, television, and digital news among members.
