USF strives to be a welcoming and inclusive campus. Part of this commitment includes respecting your chosen name. If this no longer matches your legal name, you can request a first name change, which will be reflected in USF's directory, Canvas, and Archivum.

To make a first name change request, please email IDM-Help from your official USF email account. You do not need to provide personal details for the request; just be clear about the name you want to show in Canvas. This will not change your email address.

To change your name on your official record, which will include your transcripts, diploma, etc., you will need to file a request with supporting documentation through the Registrar's Office. The necessary form can be find in their Forms Library.
