Financial Aid
The USF College of Design, Art & Performance allocates over $200,000 a year for financial aid and scholarship funds. Financial aid opportunities consist of college scholarships and individual school awards. There are different application processes for these opportunities, so be sure to review the specific requirements.
School Awards
The schools at the College of Design, Art & Performance all offer awards specific to their majors. Check with each school for information on how to receive their offered awards.
Siede Student Fund
The Siede Student Fund Endowment Grant for Exceptional Students will match a School award for the same purpose. The length of the award is one year, with the possibility of renewal. Talk to your academic advisor if you meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Apply and be accepted for admission into the University of South Florida.
- Must be registered a major in the College of Design, Art & Performance.
- Recommended by a College of Design, Art & Performance school.
- Strong consideration is given to exceptionally talented applicants who are traditionally underrepresented in any of the disciplines in the College.
- Special consideration is given to first year or first generation students.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.3.
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.0 in the major.
- Enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a minimum of 9 credit hours per semester for the full award.
Diversity Enhancement Award
Talk to your academic advisor for more information if you are an applicant who meets the following characteristics:
- Applied and were accepted for admission into the University of South Florida.
- Have ethnic minority status, as defined by the federal EEOC guidelines.
- Registered as a major in the College of Design, Art & Performance.
- Recommended by a College of Design, Art & Performance school.
