Pablo Arencibia has taught jazz and classical piano at the University of South Florida since 2018 and was appointed adjunct professor in 2020. He has also worked as a researcher for the USF Cognitive Aging Lab in collaboration with the Music Education Department and has presented his original research at the USF Performing Arts Medicine Association Conference. 

Arencibia earned a Master’s Degree in Jazz Piano Performance from USF and was the youngest student in obtaining the Piano Professor degree at the Juan Jose Landaeta National Music Conservatory in Caracas, Venezuela. He is the Contemporary Keyboard Studio Professor at the University of Tampa and he served as Director of Contemporary Composition Studies at the TAI School of Music (Rey Juan Carlos University) in Madrid, Spain where he taught for several years. 

Pablo Arencibia has performed with internationally acclaimed orchestras such as the Caracas Municipal Orchestra and the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, and he has performed and recorded with a wide variety of national and international jazz artists in multiple countries such as Venezuela, Spain, USA, France, Greece, Rumania, and Colombia. He was the Musical Director of the Spanish musical theater show “Ay Carmela”. He has won music competitions such as the Moises Moleiro National Piano Competition, Talavera de la Reina International Jazz Competition, Madrid Clazz Prize, and the privilege to perform a private concert for the Romanian Royal Family as part of the Bucharest Jazz EuropaFest.
