Graphic arts students work with clients to elevate their brand
A senior research course is giving graphic arts students the opportunity to produce real-world design work for local clients. This semester, students in the class collaborated with the USF College of Marine Science to design branding for the Tampa Bay Surveillance Project. The project combines skills and knowledge of the region’s fishing captains with scientists from the University of South Florida and Eckerd College to investigate contaminants in local waterways for human and environmental health.

Holly Drive Collective Shines at Musikfest and Beyond
The Holly Drive Collective, a creative collaborative network student ensemble at College of The Arts at the University of South Florida made waves at Musikfest, one of the nation's longest-running music festivals in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The group's performance, featuring a blend of rap, rock, hip hop, R&B, and metal showcased their original music and talent.

USF architecture and water researchers partner with city of Tampa to mitigate the impact of extreme heat
With Tampa on track for record-breaking heat this summer, University of South Florida researchers are collaborating with the city of Tampa to implement strategies that can help protect the city and its residents. The project, Bridging Knowledge to Action, will direct the city’s efforts to enhance resilience through new initiatives, including planting more trees and establishing dedicated spaces for individuals to cool down.
