Dawn Rodriguez is the Acting Treasurer and Assistant Vice President for the University of South Florida and Acting Director of the USF Financing Corporation and USF Property Corporation. She is responsible for financial policy development, fiscal oversight of USF affiliates, relationships with credit rating agencies, relationships with commercial and investment banks, and reporting and compliance related to debt and investments. She also oversees the University’s auxiliary operations and tax advisory services.

Dawn joined the University in 2005 following several years in governmental and not-for-profit accounting. During her nearly 20-year tenure at USF, Dawn played a key role in advancing the University’s strategic objectives, including nearly $2 billion of financing transactions. She was given progressively more responsibility over the years, being promoted to Assistant Treasurer and then named Assistant Vice President in 2023. Dawn was most recently appointed Acting Treasurer and Acting Director recognizing her vast experience in financial management, compliance, accounting and auditing.

Dawn earned a BS in Business and Accounting from the State University of New York and received an MBA in Finance from the University of South Florida. She also earned a certificate from Harvard Business School for completing the Finance for Senior Executives program.
