Thanks to the generous support of John Caltabiano and his team, the USF Supply Chain Innovation Lab was launched in July 2020. Caltabiano is the Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Jabil and is responsible for all materials and customer supply chain solutions for the company’s Engineered Solution Group Division.
Florida Department of Transportation
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is an executive agency and directly reports to the Governor of Florida. FDOT’s continuing mission is to provide a safe transportation system that ensures the mobility of people and goods, enhances economic prosperity, and preserves the quality of our environment and communities. This mission is accomplished through a primary purpose to plan and develop (either directly or indirectly) Florida’s robust transportation system. The department is committed to building a transportation system that not only fits the current needs of Florida’s residents and visitors but also enhances mobility throughout the state to accommodate its consistent and rapid growth.
The USF Supply Chain Innovation Lab is grateful for Rickey Fitzgerald and his team, by awarding the USF Supply Chain Innovation Lab with multiple funded research projects regarding logistics led economic development. Fitzgerald is the Freight and Multimodal Operations Manager at FDOT and focuses on the strategic movement of freight around the Florida state.
