Retreat 2022

The freshman and junior Business Honors Program cohorts recently participated in our annual Business Honors Program Leadership and Ethics retreat, which took place at our Muma College of Business on February 4, 2022. The retreat is something the students attend as a freshman to allow them to bond with students from other cohorts as well as develop skills and knowledge about how to be ethical leaders in the business world today. Often "ethics" can be a difficult concept to define, and the Business Honors Program wants to make sure that when our students graduate, that they can understand and practice honest and ethical business practices to be the best leaders possible. We also use the retreat as an opportunity for other cohort students to act as mentors towards the freshman cohort and allow them to complete team-building activities that strengthen the program as a whole. All in all, the retreat was a memorable bonding experience, and we can't wait to take the incoming 2022 students on their first Leadership and Ethics retreat next year!
Retreat 2020

The freshman and junior Business Honors Program cohorts recently participated in our annual Business Honors Program Leadership and Ethics retreat, which took place at our Muma College of Business on January 31, 2020. The retreat is something the students attend as a freshman and then again as juniors to allow them to bond with students from other cohorts as well as develop skills and knowledge about how to be ethical leaders in the business world today. Often "ethics" can be a difficult concept to define, and the Business Honors Program wants to make sure that when our students graduate, that they can understand and practice honest and ethical business practices to be the best leaders possible. We also use the retreat as an opportunity for the juniors to act as mentors towards the freshman cohort and allow them to complete team-building activities that strengthen the program as a whole.
