Business Honors Program
Study Abroad
Each year, Business Honors students have the opportunity to study abroad. As long as each student is in good academic standing with the Business Honors Program, they will receive a $2,000 scholarship to help offset the cost of the study abroad trip. During these trips, they learn and gain first-hand experience about the global business environment. Students take USF faculty-led business courses in institutions located in their host country. Students get the opportunity to visit local businesses and global firms where they apply their coursework to real-world applications. Business Honors students have visited and studied in:
- Florence, Italy (with stops in Rome, the Vatican City, and Venice)
Students enjoyed the Italian cuisine, learned about the local customs and culture, and visited places of interest while taking business courses at the Florence Institute of Arts. - London, England
Students were housed in The Kings Cross neighborhood, where they were free to explore places like the British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Camden Town, and the West End Theatre district, all while earning college credit. - Galway, Ireland
Students explored sights including the Cliffs of Moher, the Iron Islands, and the Guiness Brewery. - Prague, Czech Republic
Students were housed at the Anglo-American University, just outside of the Old Town area near to places like the Prague Castle, the Astronomical Clock, Charles Bridge, the Church of Our Lady of Tyn, and many museums.
