Bachelor Programs
Bachelor of Science in Aging Sciences
The Bachelor of Science in Aging Sciences is an interdisciplinary program that provides students who plan to pursue graduate or professional work in aging, allied health, or a related field with cutting edge education and training in the field of aging. Classes are taught by faculty who have expertise in gerontology and the aging network, which creates a vibrant community for students in the program. We want our graduates to be able to apply the best research knowledge to the "real world" to provide evidence-based practice and policy for older adults.
Beyond our classes, we have several student organizations that are open to all students. We have students that also contribute to ongoing research labs in the School and volunteer in our community. We annually recognize students in the program with scholarships and awards at the end of each spring.
