Online MA in Applied Behavior Analysis Earns No. 1 Ranking by BestColleges
In a recent roundup by BestColleges, USF’s online master’s in applied behavior analysis was named the best online behavioral psychology program in the U.S. This new accolade comes on the heels of a top-five program ranking by Online Psychology Degrees.
The 41-credit master’s in behavior analysis can be completed on a full-time basis in five semesters. Students complete their coursework and directed research online, then complete a practicum experience at a local agency, school or other site providing behavior analytic services.
The practicum provides opportunities to apply theory to the real-world problems of clients. Students work 10 to 30 hours a week under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to compile 1,000 hours of required experience.
Upon completion of the program, students are well prepared to sit for the BCBA exam, and graduates boast a 92% pass rate for first-time test takers as well as a 100% employment rate.
The Online Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis is offered by the Department of Child & Family Studies in the USF College of Behavioral & Community Sciences and is an Association for Behavior Analysis International Verified Course Sequence.
