MFT Program Faculty

 

The Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) is a 60-credit hour terminal degree. The purpose of the program is to train and educate students to be competent marriage and family therapists who will help to meet the growing job demand for the state of Florida. Graduates of the program will be eligible for licensure in the state of Florida as marriage and family therapists.

Accreditation

The MFT M.S. program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education through 2030.

The MFT Program at USF offers:

  • Highly specialized training to become a marriage and family therapist
  • Over 12 months of field trianing in the Tampa Bay area
  • Eligibility for license as LMFT after 2-year full-time program
  • Small cohort with top-notch faculty mentorship.
