Rehabilitation Counseling & Disability Sciences
Accreditation
The Rehabilitation Counseling and Disability Sciences (RCDS) program in an MA degree
program housed under the Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program
at USF. The RCDS has college accreditation as they are a part of the University of
South Florida's (USF) system. USF is accredited through the Southern Association
of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). SACSCOC is recognized by
both the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and the U.S. Department
of Education (USDE).
As a new program, we are currently in the process of applying for CACREP accreditation
but do not have that designation at this time.
