RMHC Students Receive Scholarship Award
Congratulations to Rehabilitation & Mental Health Counseling master’s students Claudia Cordero and Suresh Lama Tamang for being awarded the John A. Orphanidys Scholarship Award, sponsored by the Florida Chapter of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP).
National Suicide Prevention Week: Sept 5 - 11

CARD-USF Receives Funding for Pilot Program
The Center for Autism & Related Disabilities at USF is one of three CARD centers in the state to receive a $100,000 grant from the Florida Legislature to implement a pilot program that will help address the serious issue of individuals on the autism spectrum who may be at risk of wandering out into the community unsupervised.
Joint Accreditation Review Process for RMHC
The USF Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling (M.A. degree) program now joins a handful of other higher education programs across the United States in successfully completing the joint review process offered as part of the 2013 affiliation agreement between the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) and the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

MSCABH Spring Application Deadline
The fully online Master of Science Degree in Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health (MSCABH) program at the University of South Florida prepares professionals to serve in public and non-profit agencies and schools that work with diverse children and adolescents experiencing behavioral health challenges and their families. 2017 Spring Semester Deadline has been extended to November 30, 2016.
