Dr. Ryan Henry Receives Dean's Outstanding Service Award
Congratulations to Dr. Ryan Henry for receiving the USF College of Behavioral & Community Sciences (CBCS) Dean’s Outstanding Service Award at the virtual CBCS Spring Assembly on April 17. The award is given to CBCS faculty who have demonstrated outstanding service to the Department, College, University, Profession, and/or the local community.
Dr. Henry provides extensive service to CBCS, the Department of Child & Family Studies and the Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling Program. He served as acting Director of the RMHC program 2018-2019 while the Program Director Dr. Chih-Chin Chou completed a Fulbright Scholarship in Taiwan. He is Director of the Marriage and Family Certificate Program which boasts one of the highest certificate enrollments at USF. He also provides leadership by his service on multiple committees and he collects SACS data for RHMC.
For the past few years, Dr. Henry has put in much effort developing a master’s degree program in Marriage and Family Therapy, which was just approved by the Florida Board of Governors to begin Fall 2020.
