Typhon

Typhon is the online tracking system used for documenting clinical hours. Students will receive detailed information about Typhon in their first year professionalism course. The link for Typhon is www.typhongroup.net

Canvas

Within the USF Canvas system is a link for Audiology Clinic Homebase. Within this link students will find detailed information including the Audiology clinic handbook, background check information, USF Hearing clinical forms and protocols, and cerumen management practicum guided studies. Students are encouraged to check this website daily as announcements regarding meetings, practical examinations and other important information will be posted. Students can access canvas by entering their log in information into my.usf.edu

Clerkship and Externship Information

Students have the opportunity in the summer after their second year of studies to begin clinical rotations offsite. USF has a large variety of clerkship opportunities within the greater Tampa Bay area. We have affiliations with both VA Hospitals in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Orlando, several Tampa ENT clinics, the school systems, and many private practices in the area. A full list of affiliated clerkship locations is available on the Canvas audiology clinic homebase website. This list also includes many affiliated externship locations throughout the country.
