MHWW journey

The goal of the Mental Health and Wellness in the Workplace course, developed by the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences at the University of South Florida in conjunction with the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, is to not only to contribute to the reduction of mental health stigma, but to help you learn how to detect a possible problem and address it in a manner that will lead to healthy outcomes for employers and employees alike.

Most people living with a behavioral or mental health disorder are perfectly capable of working in a rewarding career and it is critical that we build healthy organizational cultures to protect both the well-being of our team members as well as the impact on our organizations’ bottom line.

Session 1: Overview and Impact of Mental Health, Behavioral Health, and Addiction in the Workplace

The Mental Health and Wellness in the Workplace course content is available for free to the public on this website. If you'd like to earn the digital badge and certification from USF's Office of Corporate Training and Professional Education, you may upgrade to the certificate version of the course, which includes quizzes on the material.
